This CHILD-LIKE figure with expressive eyes was inspired by looking at little toddlers. The contrast of the texture of the stone and the more sensitive parts around the eyes are representing the differences between nature and nurture. The things the child born with, old as human kind – like the will to survive is like the brut surfaces of the head.  The eyes and the soft texture around the eyes speak about empathy and imagination and the possibility to become a happy complex creature.
